What You'll Do

  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the ethical development and deployment of AI solutions at Cipherly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, research) to integrate ethical considerations throughout the AI lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify and assess potential ethical risks associated with AI projects, such as bias, fairness, privacy, and transparency.
  • Develop and implement robust AI ethics frameworks and policies to guide responsible AI development.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends in AI ethics and industry best practices.
  • Educate and advocate for ethical considerations within the company and externally.
  • Conduct research and analysis on the societal implications of AI.
  • Contribute to the development of clear and transparent communication strategies regarding AI use.
  • Monitor and audit AI systems to ensure they align with ethical principles.

What You Bring

  • Master's degree in Philosophy, Law, Public Policy, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of ethical frameworks, particularly as they relate to AI (e.g., fairness, accountability, transparency, privacy).
  • Solid knowledge of AI principles, algorithms, and potential societal impacts.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience in research and analysis, preferably within the tech or ethics domain.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to advocate for ethical AI principles.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
